Meeting Minutes
December 15, 2025
The meeting was called to order by President Ben Howen. Attendance was taken. Board Members Ben Howen, Amy Howen, Corey Cook, Chuck Skogen and Gen Brion were in attendance. Brian Claudnicl was also in attendance.
The board members reviewed the minutes of the 11/17/2025 meeting. Cory made a motion to approve the minutes as typed. Chuck second. Motion Carried.
Amy Howen reviewed the treasurer’s report dated 12/15/2025. Gen made a motion to approve. Cory second. Motion Carried.
New Members: Renewals from L’Cars, Blackmarx and Pioneer Village
Member renewals not received yet: Cooks Well, Dreamship, Drew Insurance, Elite Cutover, Fire & Ice Heating, Hayes Computers, Liberty Medical, Main St Gallery, Needz Coffee, Old Bookshop RL, Sweet Additions, Wade Family Eyecare
Old Business:
Sign Committee: Poles have been attained, waiting on spring thaw. They were donated again by Stella Jones, if they need to be moved, Brian can help if we need.
Main Street Poles: Poles have been attained, waiting on spring thaw.
Holiday Decorating Contest:Winners Chosen: 1st Blackmarx, 2nd Buck N Beams, 3rd 6Four Accord
Annual Meeting: Monday, March 16th, Wolf’s Den, 6pm-8pm. Send save the dates by the end of Dec. Send an info email in January, with a reminder in February. Calendar notifications to be sent. RSVP by March 6th. John will canvas with information cards. Ideas for drawing: business donations and/or a large prize? Need to set a budget. 3 tier money drawing, ticket with each rsvp, can buy more at the meeting.
Monthly Meeting space: Will now be at the Community Center on the 3rd Monday of the month, at 6pm, with exception of the Annual Member Meeting.
Camerama: Horse pull is no longer happening, unless someone is willing to take over. The softball tournament is not happening by the civic club, they will possibly still do art in the park. Car show will be happening, maybe add RC car races for kids. Library doing puzzle and plant sale? Encourage others to plan their activities for the same weekend.
New Business:
None today.
Next Meeting: Monday, January 19th at the Cameron Community Center @ 6:00 p.m.
