New Members:

Old Business:

Sign Committee: Waiting on permit from village. Design and engineering approved from Graphic House. Polls too short, Cliff has contact with Stella Jones to get new poles. Tim will meet with Cliff on the 30th. Once polls are installed, we can schedule the install.

Main Street Poles: Polls for street sale banner are approved by Mr. Cooley and Blackmarx (property owners). Need approx 35 ft poles for banner, Brian recommends 8ft in the ground, heavy duty class 2. Brian says he can pick them up and install them. Tim has a meeting with the village about a permit. Mr. Cooley would like the wrought iron fence to remain and no damage to his tree.

Street Sale: Earned $350. Vendors were happy, it rained again. The alley location was a success. Shout out to Brian for putting up the banner across the alley entrance and making the alley presentable by killing and cutting the weeds. Desire for more vendors, banner up, and more customer traffic.Start banner/advertising end of July?

Trunk or Treat: A disappointing turn-out. Four businesses attended along with the sheriff dept and Cameron police. The children in attendance were good, but down a little bit. Need to send out more invites/reminders next year. Ask people to rsvp so that we can plan out layout and be prepared for the number of participants. Ask the FBLA advisor for a date in advance.

New Business:

Christmas Tree: Decorate the Village tree – November 15th 10am. Light it up on November 29th 6pm. If Jen Christiansen wants to have a tree village, we can give information to local businesses.

Holiday Decorating Contest: Ask the village for judges. Denise Paddock is willing to do it again. Send a letter asking local businesses to participate, and to confirm so that we can relay to the judges who they will be judging. Will need to give up by the 29th of November. Announced the night of the parade. Amy will send out info to businesses.

Annual Meeting: Mosaic had offered to have it at their new showroom, but they would need it finished by then. Also discussed having at the Wolf’s Den. Need to think about a date. Last year was on a Thursday in February.

Pioneer Village Museum: Christmas in the village, cookie decorating, santa, makers market. Looking for donations for the gift bags for the kids, approx 500 bags.

Monthly meeting space: Ben will speak with the community center about having our monthly meetings there.

Next Meeting: Monday, November 17th at L’Cars @ 6:00 p.m.

The meeting was adjourned.
