Old Business:

Sign Committee: Tim talked with Jaden Ebert from the Village of Cameron about the status of our sign permit. We do not need a permit from the USDOT, but we do need a “new sign” permit. Jaden is working on the permit, and does not think it will take long. Cory contacted the sign company about production. The sign company is ready when we are. Gen will need to contact the excavator. Tim contacted the carpenter about construction of the sign supports, and they are ready as well.

Main Street Banner: The best way to support the banner will be with the telephone poles that were donated by Stella Jones. Ben and Amy of Blackmarx will allow a pole to be installed on their property on the north side of main street. Tim will talk with Jim Cooley about installing a pole on his property on the south side of main street. Ben will talk with Jaden about installing the poles. We have the banner, hardware, and cables once the poles are installed. We will ask the village crew to install the banner once everything is in place.

Street Sale: 3rd weekend in September. All board members agreed that the sale should be moved to the large parking lot area/alley south of Main Street Repair and west of the railroad tracks. Gen will talk with the village about getting that space closed for the day. Ben will work on a graphic for the event, and he will also make a map to give to the person who recruits vendors. The CBA board members will do a clean up day on the back alley prior to the event.

Trunk or Treat: We will be surrendering this event to the Cameron High School Future Business Leaders of America. We will help them promote the event.

Social Media & Online Calendar: Ben will continue to post area business events and post new members. We need to spread the word to our members that this function exists.

New Business:

Member participation in Beauty Beyond Our Shores 1st Annual Art Competition. Ben put it on the website. We encourage everyone to participate.

Next Meeting: Monday, June 16th at Community Bank @ 6:00 p.m.

Meeting was adjourned.
